The installation of MAKACT is quite simple.  I will attempt to take you,
the installer, through this step by step.  I will make the assumption that 
you are vaguely familiar with VMS.

.le;Decide where the main directory is to be located.

.le;SET DEFAULT into the directory that you have just created.
.le;Create the sub-directories as follows::

.le;[.HELP]...Contains the help file used in the program.
.le;[.SRC]....Contains the source code for the program.

.le;Copy the files from the DECUS area to the appropriate areas in the new
location of the MAKACT program.
.le;Examine the file DEFINE.COM file in the main MAKACT directory.
.le;Edit this file to designate the location of the makact files on
your system.

.le;SET DEFUALT into [.SCR].
