From: P_MILLER Subj: undocumented FAL/DAP logging feature Undocumented DECNET FAL/DAP logging feature: See the micro-fiche for module FALLOGGER in facility FAL, sheet 174: By defining the logical name FAL$LOG, you can generate a text log of the messages exchanged by the two nodes participating in a remote file access. The log is written, by default, to NETSERVER.LOG, but you can direct it anywhere by defining FAL$OUTPUT. You define the logical names in the LOGIN.COM on the remote node--this is the node that runs FAL to receive your remote file access requests. You can read the micro-fiche for details, but the following turns on all logging flags: $DEFINE FAL$LOG 3F FAL$LOG may also be used to set various FAL/DAP options. --Phil Miller (P_MILLER)
