This will correspond to OpenVMS V7.3-2 The following changes were made: CDRECORD.COM - As of 29-Jul-2003, the "help overview" command is being updated to reflect the new verify option. A printed comment is added to the validate_log_device routine to clarify possible user response when the Logical Device unit is already in use. BTORDER.H - This module was changed to allow compilation on the Itanium(r) platform. CDRECORDBLD.COM - This is a VMS "build" file, which was changed to allow building on the Itanium(r) platform. ******************************************************** 06-Dec-2002 Production Date of previous Open Sources kit. This corresponds to the most recent CDRECORD patch for OpenVMS V7.3-1. The following fixes were made: CDRECORD.COM - Changed to specify the -driveropts=burnproof switch to the cdrecord executable when a write operation was being performed. This allows the "burnproof" feature to be enabled, if the drive supports it. Also changed to include a "verify" capability. This can be executed following the creation of cd media, in order to verify that the data written can be read back, and matches the original data. SCSI-VMS.C - Changed to report errors properly. The scsi status code was being improperly shifted 5 bits rather than 4 bits. DRV_MMC.C - Changed to allow execution to proceed if "burnproof" is specified, but the drive does not support "burnproof". A warning message is issued, but the write operation is still attempted. Itanium(r) is a registered trademark of Intel Corp.
