The only problem with all the nifty stuff in this directory is that there are no provisions for transferring it to a stand-alone VT-180. Here at BASD we have a file transfer utility written by Polygon Associates which allows us to download files from the VT-180 to the VAX (and vice-versa). Therefore, I am able to provide .HEX and .COM files, but no means to upload them to your VT-180. I apologize for this inconvenience, but for those of you who are resourceful, these files may be of some use. .list .le;GIO - General purpose I/O routine that allows you to do direct output to physical devices. There are two versions: a generic 8080 version which works on a our patched version of VT-180 CP/M, and a native Z80 version which has the capability of working on any VT-180. This is written in Micro-Soft Macro-80, but should be convertable to any assembly language. The important parts are the physical device address definitions. .le;Flyer - A little game written in ASM. Should be loadable, runable, and understandable as provided here. My first crack at CP/M ASM, so it is not a fantastic example of 8080 code. .le;Othello - The ancient, but still nasty old game of OTHELLO. Originally written by John Fedak of the U. of Penn. and submitted by Ira Winston to DECUS. This version drives the VT-180 screen in the same manner as the VT-100 version included in this BASD DECUS submission, but does not have the reqind capability. Alas, I can only provide the .COM file, since I compiled it it Microsoft Fortran-80, which is a licensed product. .end list
