The  contents of this directory represent the second distribution of the
Software Tools Mail System.   I  hope  that  I  have  given  you  enough
information  in  the  release notes (release.doc) to permit you to solve
any problems which occur. 

For those VMS sites which do not choose to use the new mail system,  the
sources  for  the  previously  released  utilities  can be found as .tcs
archives in [...OLDMSG].  Follow the directions  found  there  to  build
these  utilities,  and  to  install  the  images  and  documentation for
general use. 

For those brave souls searching  for  adventure  and  fame,  you  should
continue  directly to release.doc.  I hope that you find the mail system
as useful as we have here at LBL, and that lots of you get into  linking
it up to new and wondrous networks and systems.
