PROBLEM #1 (???) EVA HATCHERSON:

Kenny Long had a file that had the <NUL> in column 1. The <NUL> acts as a
carraige control when the file is printed or typed to the screen. The null
means "print this line on top of the line above" not <CR><LF>.

When this file is sent to LASER to be printed, the output does not look like
it should - i.e., its as if the <NUL> are not being read as carraige returns.
Kenny wanted to know if this was because of the way the LASER program dumped
the file to tape, or if it is the way the X9700 reads <NUL>

SOLUTION #1:

Called Alan Zirkle (LASER creator) and he wasn't sure what his LASER program
did with <NUL>s. He said that the file can be dumped to tape using LASER,
and then dump the file back to disk using MAG to see what happend to the <NUL>s.
