How to get VNEWS				V 1.41 September, 1991

Initially, VNEWS is available for anonymous ftp from arizona.edu,
in the directories under [.software.vms.vnews].

You have two options:

IF you are currently running V1.40, get:

[.software.vms.vnews.141upd]*.* - updates to convert 1.40 to 1.41 (put
	these in your 1.40 source directory, purge, and recompile)
[.software.vms.vnews.docs]*.* - updated documentation (minor changes)

IF you are not running VNEWS at all, get:

[.software.vms.vnews.141src]*.*	 - this is the source code for V1.41.
[.software.vms.vnews.docs]*.* - this is the documentation for V1.41.

In addition, you MAY want to get:

[.software.vms.vnews.rfc]*.* - these are the rfcs vnews cares about
[.software.vms.vnews.newusers]*.* - this is some information you
				    may want to peruse and incorporate into
				    your site-specific documentation.
[.software.vms.vnews.utils]*.* - some .COM files that may help you
[.software.vms.vnews.objs]*.* - V1.41 object files (VMS V5.4-2).

If you absolutely positively totally cannot do an anonymous ftp, and
you've asked everyone and no one will do it for you, then you can
send me mail, and I'll send you a VMS_SHARE of VNEWS.  

Anyone interested in hosting VNEWS source codes for their network and/or
geographic region, please feel free to do so.  You may want to tell me
(jms@arizona.edu) what you're doing so that I can keep you updated with
new versions.
