This is currently the only MIME functionality in MX. Incoming messages in this special format are automatically decoded by MX and sent to the user as a foreign file. Note that MX V3.3, PMDF V4.1+, or MultiNet V3.2+ is required on the other end for the file to be usable. Also note that of the three, only MX can properly encode all VMS file types. PMDF and MultiNet cannot send indexed files, though both *can* successfully decode such files sent from MX. This will be fixed in a future release of MultiNet. I assume the same will be true for PMDF. > o BITNET messages can now be sent in NETDATA format in additon to PUNCH. > This requires that you have and maintain a copy of BITEARN NODES.
