HG SD Update Information ---------------------------------------- Version 2.3-1, February 11, 2004 - Ported to OpenVMS IA64 (Itanium). The IA64 binaries were created using hp C T7.0-002 on OpenVMS IA64 V8.1. - Removed support for "~" taking you to SYS$LOGIN:, as ISO 9660 CDs in Joliet format (Windows) use "~" in the short file names, preventing SD from moving to those directories. ---------------------------------------- Version 2.3, August 31, 1998 - Changed name from MGSD to HGSD. Changed logicals from "MADGOAT_*" to "HG_*". - Changed how "SD *X" is interpreted. Previously, that would display the stack and do nothing else. Now, the stack is shown only if the command is "SD *", allowing you to use a command like "SD *X" to go to "[FOX]", for example. ---------------------------------------- Version 2.2, March 1, 1998 - Added code to set the DCL prompt to the name of the current default directory. Code is present in SD_PROMPT.EXE, *not* SD.EXE, and must be activated via the logical name HG_SD_SET_PROMPT. ---------------------------------------- Version 2.1, August 27, 1997 - For "unknown errors", actually display the message text. A bug before just showed "Unknown error (%x)". ---------------------------------------- Version 2.0-2, April 2, 1997 - Fixed the .HLP file to say that the history stack holds 16 previous default directories. ---------------------------------------- Version 2.0-1, March 24, 1997 - Added support for "<" and ">" to move to the previous and next alphabetical directory, respectively. - If already at top-level directory, move to [000000] if we go up again ("@@" will always go to [000000]). - Added "&" to "un-conceal" directory specs. - Expanded the stack from 10 to 16 entries (0--F). ---------------------------------------- Version 2.0, March 14, 1997 - Rewrote SD in C - Added support for abbreviating directory names
