Lucky me, xphoon has a -demo switch, which does an accelerated display of 
the phases of the moon, so this is what freeware_demo.com is running.

Note to CDE users: Make sure you have set your system to use "No Backdrop"
else the xphoon output will be obscured by the CDE background.
